Creating Your Account

Getting Started

To create a new ProjectBoard account:

  1. Visit the ProjectBoard website at https://projectboard.world
  2. Click the Login button located in the header of the website
  3. On the login page, click the Sign Up option or button

Account Information

You'll need to provide the following information:

  • Email Address: Enter a valid email address that you can access immediately (you'll need to verify this email)
  • First Name: Your first name
  • Last Name: Your last name
  • Username: Create a unique username for your ProjectBoard identity
  • Password: Create a secure password that meets our requirements
Idea
We recommend using a personal email address, rather than a school email, as often school IT systems don't allow outside emails to be delivered to students. See below for more on this.

Password Requirements

Your password must meet these security requirements:

  • Contain at least 6 characters
  • Include at least 1 uppercase letter
  • Include at least 1 number
  • Avoid commonly used passwords (e.g., "Password123")

Email Verification

After submitting your information:

  1. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the email address you provided
  2. Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folders if you don't see it)
  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code in the verification field
  4. Click Verify to complete your account creation

School or Institution Email Issues

If you're using a school or institution email address and don't receive the verification code:

  • Your school might block emails from external domains
  • Ask your school IT department to whitelist our domain
  • Direct them to our guide for IT administrators: Whitelist Domains
  • Alternatively, you can use a personal email address if permitted

Once your account is created and verified, you can:

  • Complete your profile
  • Explore projects in our community
  • Upload your projects
